Volume lashes, conversely, use pre-made or hand-made fans (e.g., 3D, 5D) to increase the density and fullness of the lash line, rather than just adding length.

2. When should I choose the 0.15mm diameter over the 0.07mm diameter?

The choice of diameter is determined entirely by the health and strength of your client's natural lash (the safe weight rule).
- 0.15mm: Ideal for clients with exceptionally strong, thick, and healthy natural lashes who desire a dramatic, heavy mascara look. This thickness adds significant visible weight and depth.
- 0.07mm: Often used for hybrid sets or clients with weaker/finer natural lashes. While typically used for Volume fans, applying a 0.07mm classic lashes fibre 1:1 creates a softer, more natural look while protecting the integrity of the finer natural lash.

The finer diameter prevents the Classic spikes from looking too heavy or dominating the softer volume lash fans. This blending creates a seamless, lighter texture and prevents the Hybrid set from appearing bulky or unnatural.

The quality of your lash adhesive is critical for Classic sets, as the single contact point requires maximum bond strength.
