FAQS
1. What are Promade Fans and how are they different from traditional Volume?
Promade fans are pre-fanned eyelash extensions (e.g., 3D to 10D) that are bonded at the base by hand, ready for immediate application. They are used to create Volume and Mega Volume lash sets.
Traditionally, Volume was created using the advanced Russian Volume technique, which requires specific training and adds significant time to appointments. Promade fans eliminate this time constraint, allowing certified lash artists to offer stunning Volume sets faster. You simply pick and place, similar to applying classic lashes.
2. What is the difference between Promade and Premade lashes?
Promade fans are the modern, higher-quality iteration of Premade fans. The term "Promade" was adopted by artists because these fans closely mimic the look and flexibility of a perfect, handmade volume fan.
Promade fans generally have a thinner, narrower base than older Premade fans. They offer a softer, fluffier appearance, which creates a much more natural and flexible bond, resulting in superior retention compared to older-style Premade fans.
3. What’s the difference between the Promade Mega Box (600 Fans) and the Easy Promade Fans (1000 Fans)?
Both products contain the same high-quality, lightweight promade fans and are engineered for excellent retention. The difference is purely in quantity, presentation, and cost-effectiveness.
- Promade Mega Box (600 Fans): Comes perfectly laid out in a large tray. This format is ideal for efficient setup and use during busy periods.
- Easy Promade Fans (1000 Fans): Offers a higher fan count, providing a more economical option for stocking up. They come loosely packed, requiring the use of a silicone pad for easy pick-up with your tweezers.
4. Do Promade Fans damage natural lashes?
Absolutely not, if applied correctly. Damage only occurs when the extension weight is too heavy for the client's natural lash.
As a lash artist, you must adhere to the Safe Weight Rule by choosing the appropriate fan size and diameter (0.05mm or 0.03mm) that your client's natural lash can safely support. Our fans have a slim, lightweight base that minimizes stress.

5. How long do Promade fans last?
Promade fans offer excellent retention and will last as long as a correctly applied set of classic lashes, typically 3 to 4 weeks.
Longevity depends on proper application (isolation, attachment zone) and using a high-performance lash adhesive matched to your room's humidity. The slim, tiny base of our fans maximises the contact area for a strong, long-lasting bond.

6. Where is the best position to apply Promade fans on the natural lash?
Promade fans can be applied to the top, bottom, or side of the natural lash—this is largely a matter of the technician’s preference and comfort.
If your client has particularly straight or downward-growing natural lashes, applying the fan from the bottom or side can often provide better support and achieve a more aesthetically pleasing upward lift. Always ensure maximum bond contact with your lash tape (Hyperlink lash tape:https://lashlybeauty.com.au/collections/accessories) and isolation technique.
